Overview of the Frames
Frames are manufactured from high quality European Redwood, double Vac/Vac impregnated, mortice and tenon construction.
Firecheck frames, grooved either 10 x 4 or 15 x 4, rebated 25mm x 47mm for ½ hour 44mm fire doors. Frames are supplied with a base coat of stain to allow further finishing, can be supplied unassembled or assembled with or without intumescent strip/smokeseal. FNS/FXS frames are supplied with a ex50mm x 150mm standard cill or as an option can be supplied with a ex50mm x 80mm stub cill rebated 12mm x 47mm.
Sealed frames, rebated 12mm x 47mm to accept 44mm doors, supplied with a base coat of stain to allow further finishing, can be supplied unassembled or assembled, with or without weatherseal. FNS/FXS frames are complete with a ex50mm x 150mm hardwood cill grooved to accept a PVC waterbar.
